Digital Archiving and Preservation
Pioneer Medical Journal (PMJ) is committed to the long-term preservation and continued accessibility of its published scholarly content.
All published articles and associated bibliographic metadata will be maintained as part of the permanent scholarly record. PMJ will use appropriate digital preservation and backup arrangements to protect published content against data loss, technical failure, or interruption of the Journal's publishing platform.
Where available and appropriate, PMJ will participate in recognised long-term digital preservation services, repositories, or archiving programmes, including LOCKSS/CLOCKSS, Portico, PubMed Central (PMC), or other recognised scholarly preservation systems.
Authors may also deposit the permitted version of their published work in institutional or subject repositories in accordance with the Journal's copyright and licensing terms.
The Journal will retain the bibliographic integrity of published articles. Corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, and other post-publication changes will be linked to the original article and clearly identified to preserve the integrity and transparency of the scholarly record.
PMJ is committed to maintaining uninterrupted access to its published content and will make reasonable arrangements for continued access to the archive if the Journal's publishing platform or publishing arrangements change.
